08 is great

Allow me to introduce you to Amy.

Apparently our two families had been trying to set us up on a date for months and months. It took my Mom's request for me to be home for Christmas (more than just a few days) and a friendly invitation to a game night to start it all. Kudos to family.

We've grown fond of spending our days together and finding fun adventuresome things to do. Like discovering a hole in the wall restaurants with yummy food, building a snow carebear-monkeys, going for a drives ... even to Canada for gelato ice cream. But alas all of it was fun and games until she tore her ACL playing church basketball. She'll be in for surgery later this month and using crutches for a while. unfortunately we had to postpone our underwater basket weaving classes till summer :)

First One ...

After multiple requests from family and friends, whom I've been blessed to have in my life, I've finally started a blog. This online journal of sorts, along with pictures and videos, should hopefully let you travel along with me. Hopefully I'll be able to retro-blog some of my earlier travels.

A crazy goal I've had is to try and step foot on all seven continents before I turn 30. Only 2 to go. Traveling is so awesome. You learn so much about other cultures and yourself when you travel.
November 6th I'm embarking on a month of travels from Europe to Asia and back again. Hope you each enjoy this.
